The Decade Party

Less than a month to go!

We’re incredibly grateful and excited that so many of you have offered your support for this event, which is set to be our most special one yet. And after dozens of Link in Bar events over the years, that’s really saying something.

In this update we’ll go over some details about what you can expect from the night, and offer some insights into what it takes to throw a party like this one.

Thank you all so much for being with us for The Decade Party. For those of you attending your very first event with us, welcome. For those returning, we salute you.

There she is, our very own boat. Although I suppose it's technically a ship. Anyway…

Link on Boat

Link on Boat is a four-hour cruise on actual real water in Stockholm!

For those of you who are going, expect an experience to remember as we celebrate a decade of Link events in style.

We’re also thrilled to announce that a light meal will be served onboard for all attendees!

There’s a bar onboard too should you feel thirsty, with two complimentary drinks included in your tickets!

Meeting Location: Skeppsbron 13

Time: 15:30 - Don’t be late, swimming isn’t as fun as being on the boat!
Dresscode: Formal (Optional: We’d encourage you to dress up if you like or simply come as you are)

The Afterparty

Make no mistake, this is going to be a Link in Bar like no other. This is a ticket-only event, meaning that we’ll have the venue completely to ourselves all night. You can expect a friendly, welcoming environment filled with activity and a few surprises.

What’s happening during the night?

Gifts!

For as long as supply lasts, guests will receive a secret gift as a token of appreciation to help kick-start a night of partying! First come, first served!

Karaoke!

We’ll be setting up a station to sing, so that we can finally choir it up and deliver the sickest rendition of Link in Park’s “In the End”, all together. Just before someone queues “Don’t Stop Believing” and we collectively realize just how coarse our voices have gotten despite it only being 9pm.

Games!

We’re partnering up with Indie Game Dungeon to bring you fresh showcases of brilliant indie games. Swing by, check ‘em out and give some feedback to the devs!

As we’re sure you know, 2024 has been a challenging time for the games industry. This has meant that securing sponsors for The Decade Party has not been as easy as we had hoped. We want to do even more cool stuff for everyone who attends, and for that to be possible we need further support.
